- Established Hytera technology-based incident command center in Kathmandu Valley with more than 400 hundred cameras.
- Established Motorola’s MotoTRBO digital mobile radio (DMR) technology-based incident command center in HQs of Province 1 and Province 5.
Created effective disaster management through information age technologies:
- Led a team of crisis responders working for operational communications and social media initiatives during and after the 2015 Nepal earthquake. Developed strategies and implemented technologies and applications to improve disaster response during and after 2015 Nepal earthquake through information age technologies like interactive-SMS, Web-based system, GIS, and social media applications (Facebook and Twitter). Personally, handled the Twitter account.
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAVs), SDR (Software Driven Radio) data communication system and Interactive-SMS for disaster management.
- An information exchange project based on VSAT telephony to connects 7 remote places in the Himalayas to PHQ and supported by Nepal Telecom Authority.
- A web-based management information system for paper-smart based daily incident report at the PHQ in 2014. To sustain this initiative acquired funds and established a less-paper training lab at the Directorate in 2017.
- A grant of 33 million RMB (US$5,000,000) from government of People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Public Security, oversaw the project to modernize operational communications.
- Lobbied for, mobilized influencers and coordinated with several government agencies and acquired worth of US$600,000 rapid communication system (RCS) for Nepal Police.
- Worked for two years (1998 to 2000) with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Counterpart senior advisor Mr. Shooji Kubota. Awarded a project grant of 5.8million rupees (US$50,000) from JICA to enhance operational communications.
